Nowadays, more and more hype has been placed around refurbished and used cell phones. So what is all the hype about?

More and more major retail stores are moving into the direction of selling refurbished cell phones on their websites. Take a look at AT&T for example – their top selling cell phones on their web store are their “refurbished” phones.

You ask yourself, well how can this be? How can a company like AT&T be selling refurbished cell phones on their website and how can they be their top selling phones?

Think about it. Do you know of a major cell phone company that does not offer a 30 day no questions ask return policy? Companies like AT&T, Alltel, Verizon, Sprint and others all offer this type of policy and need to do something with the cell phones they receive back from customers during this time period and legally they are not able to sell these phones as new, so they sell them as a refurbished cell phone.

Also, do you have insurance on your phone? If you ever had that Blackberry or Iphone replaced through an insurance program with your cell phone company, the insurance provider needs to do something with the phone. They do not just throw it away. In fact, if you received a replacement phone from your cell phone carrier, I can almost guarantee you that it is a refurbished cell phone.

Software Documentation may vary from project to project depending on the complexity of the System to be developed. Documentation level is also dependent on the company strength and standard. For some companies it is for only compliance purpose, again for some it is both compliance and a need to track maintenance and keep history for the existing and coming projects. Whatever the company standard is, documentation is a need for effective development. It is a common scenario for software companies and for other companies who develop software in house that the turnover rate is very high. So the situation comes that people who designed and developed the software is not in the company anymore. Then the company faces a big problem in adapting a new software engineer with the System. In such a case, documentation plays a big role. In the software development life cycle, there are many areas to document which can help to simplify the process. In this article, I will focus how documentation helps a newly joined software engineer in a development team.

I will focus on the documentation level of a CMMI Level 3 accredited company who develop application software in Bangladesh. I am focusing on the areas of documentation that is visible to a software engineer in the process and how the documentation is important. These days we look at the word “hardware” and think, “computers”. If you are one of those people, let me tell you that this article on hardware talks about purchasing pipes, plumbing, wires, power tools and so on.

Clothes can be replaced for a relatively low expense. However, even if just one pipe decides to burst, you would definitely have to spend a fortune on plumbing. Durability and usability are two factors that are of the utmost importance when it comes to hardware products. So when it comes to even a measly difference of rates, be more partial to a hardware store that charges more. At least until you are absolutely certain that the cheaper hardware store owner is offering a product of equally superior quality.

The best thing about going to an Acme hardware store, or to some other hardware store that has a good reputation, is that you are assured of the quality of the product you are buying. I’m sure you don’t want to have to return to the hardware store again and again simply because the things that you bought to plug the leak in your room or below the basin, were not up to the mark.  Read more... Want to have a video chat with another iPhone 4 user? You can easily do that thanks to the FaceTime feature in Verizon iPhone 4. All you need to do is find your friend that you want to have a video chat with in the Contacts application, and tap on the FaceTime button to start a video call. If you’re already in a phone call with the person you want to have a video chat with, you can simply tap the FaceTime button on the iPhone 4 call screen. Your friend can either accept or deny the video call. FaceTime works in both portrait and landscape mode. You can also use either the front camera or the back camera of the Verizon iPhone 4 to have a video chat.
